This can be achieved by using a fox tail knot and a guide knot or a guide loop – see photo in the gallery. Always test the strength of the knot with your own weight! When swinging, there must be no friction of metal against metal (e.g. carabiner against a screw eye in the ceiling). This can create micro-sawdust, which contaminates the product. In such a case, always use the rope as an intermediate link.Regularly check that the rope is not chafing and thus mechanical damage is not occurring, which significantly reduces the load capacity of the rope. In such a case, replace the rope with a new one immediately!
