Attention: the jacket does not carry the baby itself – it is worn over the baby, which is placed in a sling or ergonomic carrier.
Quality softshell – protection from wind and rain
The jacket is made of so-called winter softshell – a functional three-layer material that combines water resistance, breathability and thermal comfort:
outer layer – water-repellent polyester
Middle layer – breathable polyurethane membrane
Inner layer – warm fleece (100% polyester)
Weight approx. 300–320 g/m² • water column 10,000 mm • breathability 3,000 g/m²/24 h
What time of year is the jacket suitable for?
Winter softshell has fleece inside, which is warm to the touch, but it is not exactly a winter material. It is ideal for autumn, spring and mild winter (approx. up to +5 °C). In freezing weather, we recommend supplementing it with warm base layers – e.g. a sweatshirt for mum and baby. If you are sensitive to the cold, rather choose a padded winter jacket.
Softshell itself doesn't warm much, but it perfectly retains heat, is windproof and waterproof. When carrying a baby, the heat is multiplied – an ideal choice for active mums!
Two size ranges – fits every figure
Basic cut – for average height and taller women
Cut for smaller figures (up to 165 cm) – it is not only shortened, but also shaped (different waist height, shorter sleeves, etc.)
Choose the size as you would for a regular women's jacket – the jacket without the insert must fit even without a child. When pregnant or carrying a child, simply attach the insert, which will expand the jacket's circumference as needed.
