Expressing excess milk before or during breastfeeding will relieve the engorged breast and make it easier for the baby to latch on to the breast. The nipple is hidden in the breast because of the long pause between breastfeeding. You have recessed, flat or injured nipples (suction helps shape recessed or flat nipples). If between feedings you feel a sudden engorgement of the breast and do not want to wake the baby. The child is sick and cannot suck.In case of low milk production – the use of a breast pump stimulates the activity of the mammary glands. If you go back to work and do not want to interrupt breastfeeding – it is necessary to simulate the natural breastfeeding process by using a breast pump. How often to pump with a breast pump?If the mother cannot breastfeed, we recommend pumping 8 times a day. This will keep the lactation process at the right level. At first you may have problems pumping more milk, but after a few days you will have more milk. Do not leave the pacifier in direct sunlight or near a heat source for longer than recommended in disinfectants – you may cause the pacifier to weaken. Do not use any chemical disinfectants. Check the pacifier thoroughly before each use, especially when the baby is already teething. Stretch the pacifier in all directions. At the first sign of damage or weakening of the material, replace the pacifier with a new one. Do not tighten the screw cap too tightly as the pacifier cannot vent properly. For safety and hygiene reasons, we recommend replacing the pacifier after a maximum of 3 months.HOW TO DRINK MILK PROPERLY WITH THE BASIC DRAINER?Before suctioning, wash your hands thoroughly and make sure that the suction unit is washed and sterilized (remember that the parts must not be warm or wet during assembly) and assembled according to the instructions above. Check the correct fit and tightness of the individual parts of the suction unit. For effective pumping, use the breast pump between feeds, not immediately after feeding. Before pumping, place a warm towel on the breast to encourage milk flow.Sit comfortably.
