Using a non-certified adapter may lead to danger or serious injury. Always unplug the appliance from the power socket immediately after use. Do not use the breast pump while bathing. Do not place or store the breast pump where it could fall or slide into a bath or sink. Do not place or let the pump motor, silicone tube or USB cable fall into water or other liquids. Do not reach for an appliance that has fallen into water. Unplug such an appliance immediately. Ensure that children do not play with the appliance. Keep the device out of the reach of children and pets. Before each use, check that the breast pump is not visibly damaged. Only use accessories recommended by Philips Avent. Ensure that the breast pump is not exposed to extreme heat or placed in direct sunlight. The breast pump does not have any user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the breast pump motor yourself. Parts of the breast pump that come into direct contact with milk are personal care items and should not be shared between mothers. Do not attempt to remove the breast pump from your breast while it is attached by suction. Switch it off and break the seal between the breast and the breast pump tube with your finger. Then remove the pump from the breast. You can also release the vacuum by pulling the silicone tube from the motor or cap. Never use the device during pregnancy; pumping can induce labour. Do not use the device if you are sleep-deprived or drowsy. The device can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they are supervised or have been instructed on the safe use of the device and understand all the risks associated with using the device. Children must not play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by unsupervised children. If pumping becomes painful, stop and consult a lactation specialist or a doctor. Do not use the breast pump where flammable mixtures of anaesthetics with air, oxygen or nitrous oxide are present. Although this breast pump complies with the requirements of the applicable EMC directives (directives regarding electromagnetic compatibility), it may still be susceptible to excessive emissions or mutual interference with more sensitive devices. Do not place any objects, such as a pillow or blanket, on the pump motor. When using, make sure that the extractor motor operates under conditions of good ventilation and heat dissipation.NoticeDo not leave the appliance unattended when plugged into an electrical outlet. Do not push or insert any foreign object into any opening or into the silicone tube. Do not shorten the silicone tube. Before you connect the breast pump to the mains, check whether the voltage of the appliance corresponds to the mains voltage in your home. Wash, rinse and sterilise the relevant parts of the pump before each use. Do not use antibacterial or abrasive cleaning agents or detergents when cleaning the parts of the breast pump. Never put breast pump parts or the USB cable in water or in a steriliser, otherwise you may permanently damage them. If the vacuum becomes uncomfortable or painful, switch off the breast pump, use your finger to release your breast from the pump tube and remove the pump from your breast. You can also release the vacuum by pulling the silicone tube from the motor or cap. If you do not achieve any results, do not continue pumping for more than 5 minutes.
