If it is damaged, the breast pump will not function properly. Clean the valve by gently rubbing it between your fingers in warm water with a little washing-up liquid. Do not insert objects into the valve, as this may damage it.Caution: During sterilisation by boiling, do not allow the individual parts to touch the inside or bottom of the pot. Irreversible deformation of the product or damage may occur, for which Philips cannot be held responsible.Warning: If you have disinfected the cup parts by boiling, be careful as they may be very hot. To avoid burns, start assembling the collection containers only when the disinfected parts have cooled down.Warning: Before touching the cup parts and breasts, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water to prevent contamination. If possible, do not touch the inside of the container.Warning: Put the expressed breast milk in the refrigerator or freezer immediately and keep it at a temperature of 16–29 °C for a maximum of 4 hours before feeding it to the baby.Never refreeze breast milk that has already been thawed. This would reduce its quality.
