Damage to tooth substance can also occur in young children if they consume liquids without sugar. – Always check the temperature of the food before feeding. – Discard the product at the first sign of damage or wear – Keep unused parts of the product out of the reach of children. – Never connect with cords, ribbons, shoelaces or loose parts of clothing, child could be strangled. – Always use this product under adult supervision. – Never use the feeding soother as a regular soother. – Glass bottles can break. Note for use: before using the product for the first time, disassemble the product into individual parts, clean them and place them in boiling water for 5 minutes. This serves hygienic purposes. Clean thoroughly before each use. Sterilize if necessary. Keep dry and hygienic. When cleaning, use NUK detergent or a mild hand wash and remove food residues from hidden areas. If necessary, soak the product, never scrape the inside of the bottle. Rinse thoroughly. Pacifiers and bottles do not belong in the dishwasher – there is a risk of damage to the material from the action of dishwasher detergents! Some foods can cause discolouration of the material (e.g. carrot juice) or cause an odour (e.g. fennel tea). This does not limit the suitability for use. If the bottle shows damage on the inside (e.g. scratches), it must be replaced for hygiene reasons. When boiling or steaming, always break the bottle into its individual parts and leave them open, as otherwise they may be deformed. For steaming, we recommend the NUK steam steriliser or the NUK microwave steam steriliser. Always follow the instructions for use of the sterilizer to prevent damage to the material. When disinfecting plastic bottles, the maximum temperature of 100°C (instruction on the bottle) must not be exceeded! Colours changing according to temperature are sensitive to moist heat and descaling agents. Frequent vaporization or boiling causes the colours to fade. For the feeding teat: Before each use, check the feeding teat and stretch it in all directions. Discard at the first sign of damage or weak spots. Before each use, check that the vent valve and the drinking hole are clear by stretching slightly. Do not immerse in medications! Never expose the feeding teat or bottle to direct sunlight or heat or leave it longer than the disinfectant (sterilising solution) states, this may reduce the strength of the teat or damage the material. Change the teat every 1 to 2 months for hygiene and safety reasons. For LATEX teats: made of natural rubber latex. For glass bottles: do not use metal spoons to stir in the bottle, as this may cause hairline cracks that may cause breakage later. Never use force when unscrewing/screwing the bottle. Replace the bottle at the slightest sign of damage such as cracks etc. Always heat the bottles open (explosion hazard) and cool them down (deformation)! Caution is important when heating in a microwave oven; local overheating may occur. Heated food must always be mixed and the temperature checked before feeding
