Battery: SR 41; 1,55V2. Battery life: 2000 measurements, i.e. about 200 hours3. Digital dial provides temperature measurement with 0.1°C accuracy4. Measuring range 32.0°C – 43.9°C- if the temperature is below 32.0°C, the L°C symbol appears on the dial- if the temperature is higher than 42.9°C, the H°C symbol appears on the dial5. Permissible difference +/- 0.1°C between 35.0°C – 38.0°C; +/- 0.2°C above 38.0°C6. Thermometer dimensions: 13.3 cm (length) x 2.1 cm (width) x 1.2 cm (height)7. Weight of thermometer with battery approx. 9.5 gInstructions for use:1. Turn on the thermometer:Press the button next to the dial. A short beep sounds and the 188.8M°E symbol appears on the dial, indicating that the thermometer is on. To find out the last measured temperature, hold the button for about 2 seconds, then the last measured temperature will appear at the same time as the "M" symbol. When the button is released, the "L°C" symbol appears after a few seconds with the "°C" symbol flashing. If the ambient temperature is higher than 32°C, the measured ambient temperature appears on the dial instead of the "L°C" symbol. The flashing "°C" sign means that the thermometer is ready for use.2. Choose a measurement method:a) in the mouth: insert the end of the thermometer under the tongue, close the mouth and measure for about 1 minute.b) armpits: wipe the armpits with a damp towel, insert the end of the thermometer, press your hand and measure for about 5 minutes. Notice! If you are measuring the temperature in your armpit and hear a beep after about 1 minute, ignore it and continue measuring. Only after about 5 minutes have elapsed, read the measured temperature on the thermometer.c) in the rectum: the person to be measured should lie on his/her side with the knees slightly bent. If you are taking the temperature of a small child, place the child on his or her tummy, with the knees bent in an L-shape. This position ensures safe insertion of the thermometer. With one hand, part the buttocks and with the other gently insert the end of the thermometer, but no more than 1.25 cm deep. If you feel resistance, do not insert the thermometer deeper and change the measurement method. Leave the thermometer in the rectum for about 1 minute (wait until the "°C" sign stops flashing and the beep goes off). Notice! If you use this method of measurement even once, do not use the thermometer for hygiene reasons to measure in your mouth.3. Read the body temperature:When the measurement time has elapsed, the "°C" sign stops flashing and an audible signal sounds. If the measured temperature is higher than 37.5°C you will hear a 2x louder signal. Read the measured temperature on the dial.4. Turn off the thermometer:Press the button next to the dial. If you forget to switch off the thermometer, it will switch off automatically after 10 minutes. Notice! Do not leave the child unsupervised by an adult when taking the temperature. A thermometer is not a toy. Keep out of reach of children. Do not disassemble the thermometer, do not remove the battery cover, do not bend the end of the thermometer excessively.
