Never attach other ribbons or cords to the pacifier, your baby may be suffocated by them. Do not leave the pacifier in direct sunlight or near a heat source, or leave it in a disinfectant ("sterilising solution") for longer than recommended, as this can weaken the pacifier. Before first use, place the pacifier in boiling water for 5 minutes, allow to cool and squeeze out any trapped water from the pacifier. It is about ensuring hygiene. Clean before each use.
