WHAT DOES FLO BRIP INSERTS CONTAIN?
The hypoallergenic receiving and filtering layer is made of 100% organic bamboo and GMO-free corn fibers.
The absorbent core and the absorbent layer are made of airlaid paper made of non-woven fabric made of vegetable cellulose.
The impermeable barrier is a polylactic acid (PLA) film. The layer is 100% degradable.
The adhesive layer is made of latex-free hot-melt vegan glue.
HOW ABOUT DEGRADABILITY?
Did you know that every woman consumes up to 11,000 pads and tampons with a total weight of 130 kg during the fertile period of her life?
FLO panty liners offer women a simple and comfortable transition from conventional synthetic panty liners to ecological insoles, which are more than 99% biodegradable, compostable and provide comparable efficiency.
Conventional synthetic panty liners last 200 to 400 years, while ecological FLO panty liners completely decompose in 2 to 4 years.
The bags of the individual inserts are made of 100% biodegradable and compostable material from vegetable starch, polylactic acid (PLA) and polybutyrate-adipate terephthalate (PBAT).
The boxes are made of FSC-certified paper.
WHY ORGANIC BAMBOO IS BETTER MATERIAL THAN BIO BOTTON?
Bamboo is more environmentally friendly, does not require irrigation like organic cotton, and when grown, it consumes 1/3 less water and can absorb extremely high levels of carbon dioxide.
Bamboo is naturally resistant to insects and pests, while organic cotton is less resistant and as a result is used to process less crops.
Bamboo is almost a renewable plant. There is no need to plant it every year. On the contrary, the planting of organic cotton must be repeated every year. A 4,000 m2 bamboo field produces approximately 10 times more bamboo than organic cotton. Bamboo grows much faster, up to 1.6 meters per day.
Bamboo fiber is softer and more breathable than organic cotton fiber, in addition, it has naturally hypoallergenic and antibacterial properties.
Bamboo fiber has 40% better absorbency than organic cotton fiber.
