The unsurpassed bestseller Vilac strives in an original way to develop a sense of children that is often neglected: touch. Now comes in a unique version made according to the designs of the illustrator Michelle Carlslund. The game is made up mainly of wooden figures hidden in a bucket equipped with a soft fabric bag inside. Younger children are tasked with describing in their own words what object they are holding in their hand, based only on touch after putting their hand into the tube. Parents can demonstrate the process to the children with a clear example. Older children can play the game in the form of lotto or bingo; picture cards of the individual objects are available in the set for these games. Main features: 21 game pieces and 20 picture cardsfor 2–5 playersvarious game variantsdesign Michelle Carlslundpractical packaging Game instructions: Feel and find: The first player takes a card from the pile. Then, they must reach into the bag and find the wooden piece that matches the picture on the card by touch. If they choose the correct piece, they keep the card, and the next player takes their turn, again starting by drawing a card from the pile. However, if the first player chooses the wrong piece, they must pass their card to the next player, who must try to find the correct piece. After each round, the pieces are returned to the bag. When there are no more cards left in the pile, a winner is determined. The player with the most cards wins. Attention! If one of the players accidentally pulls out a piece in the shape of a Yeti, they must return all their cards to the pile! You can adjust the rules at your own discretion to help children become more familiar with touching and searching for objects: 1 – Start with a small number of wooden pieces. 2 – Let the children look into the bag. 3 – Then make the game a little harder again, don't let them look into the bag. 4 – Add more pieces to the bag. 5 – Finally, once the children are used to the game, play according to the traditional rules. BINGO variant: Lay out 4 cards in a square and create one or more playing fields for each player. One of the players, or a parent, takes a piece out of the bag and calls it out. The player who has a card corresponding to this called-out piece takes it and places it on their card. The player who fills their playing field first wins! In 2010, when Michelle was still studying graphic design, she printed her illustrations at home and tried to sell them at a design market, where they met with great success! Several shops wanted to start selling her creations, and so she thought it would be nice to start a business. Michelle quickly became a recognised independent illustrator. Today, her ecological graphic works can be purchased all over the world in design boutiques, stationery shops and children's stores. Michelle is inspired by everything around her. Her creations are gentle and poetic, a stylised and childish style that blends perfectly with Vilac toys. “I am a chip-loving, time optimist and creator of ecological posters and a freelance illustrator based in Copenhagen, Denmark,” that’s what illustrator Michelle Carlslund would say if she had to describe herself in one sentence.
