The winner is the player who gets 10 points first. At the beginning of each game, shuffle the deck of cards and spread 9 cards into a 3×3 grid. Place the remaining cards in the deck on the table – they are double-sided, so it doesn't matter which way they are turned. The grid must always be 3×3 in size. The player who last saw a dinosaur (fossil, in a fairy tale, in a park) starts. Draw a card from the deck and turn it over. Does this card match one in the grid? A match can only be horizontal and vertical, not diagonal. If the card does not match, place it in a free space or on any card in the grid, the game continues. If the card matches, place the card next to the matching card in the grid. If you complete a set of three, take the pile under one of the cards (including the card), and flip the other two piles of matching cards over. Another chance to match! If the newly revealed cards create another match of 3 cards, take one of these piles and flip the other two over. Continue like this until you find a match on the newly flipped cards. Each collected card is worth one point. The winner is the first player to score 10 Roarsome points. There are also special cards in the deck. ROAR cards can be used as any dinosaur or colour, they are perfect for creating a secret match, if you can imitate a dinosaur well when placing them! Watch out for the DINO POOP cards – dinosaur droppings. The good news is that if you play with this card on your head, you get a point for it.
