Main features: for 2–5 playersgame time approx. 25 minutesmade from 100% FSC® paper, printed with vegetable inkspractical and attractive packaging Abbreviated game rules:The Death Star, along with the Ventilation Shaft card and a deck of shuffled Empire fleet cards, are placed face down so that everyone can reach them. Each player chooses the colour of their squadron, which consists of five Rebel squadron cards and a squadron commander card. Unused Rebel squadron cards are set aside.Depending on their number and agreement, the players gradually lay out six cards from the Empire fleet deck side by side, face down, in a row, the so-called Raid. Each player then chooses three cards from their squadron of five, called defence cards, and sets the rest aside. Each of them will then have a total of four cards of their colour, along with the squadron leader card. The cards have information about attack and defence values. The backs of the cards contain counters and a pair of arrows on the sides; by placing the cards on top of each other, players show the current defence value. This is influenced during the game by revealing cards from the Empire fleet. Players take turns turning over cards from the outside of the row and subtracting the attack values from their defence values. However, they can use a card or ability that allows them to avoid the attack in other ways. If one of them no longer has enough defence value points, they are eliminated from the rest of that Raid.Once all the Raid cards have been revealed, those who have successfully defended against at least five Empire fleet cards gain Target Points. The game then continues with a new round, shuffling the Empire fleet cards and dealing the Raid cards. You need four Target Points to destroy the Death Star. The player who scores four or more Target Points reaches the Ventilation Shaft and, after completing the Raid, destroys the Death Star by turning the Ventilation Shaft card. This wins the game. If two or more players reach the Ventilation Shaft in one turn, the player with the higher number of Target Points wins. If they have the same number of Target Points, everyone wins. If players reach the Ventilation Shaft without the required number of Target Points, the Raid is reset – another round of the Raid must begin.
