When choosing, make sure that no digit in the code is repeated. On the key card, you will find the corresponding colour, symbol and relative direction for each number. There are several options depending on how difficult you want to make the solution, or what your favourite colours are. For illustration, the combination 918 is chosen, where 9 in this case is yellow/spiral/top, 1 is purple/eye/right and 8 is light green/owl/top. Stick the corresponding symbols on the first clue card in the appropriate order, in the direction of the dashed spiral coming from the centre of the box wall. In our example, the spiral icon (for the number 9) is stuck in the largest circle, then the eye symbol (for the number 1) in the medium-sized circle, and finally the owl icon (for the number 8) in the smallest circle. Attach stickers of the colours corresponding to the individual code numbers to the second clue card. As in the previous case, orient yourself according to the size of the printed circle, the largest for the first digit, the smallest for the last. After inserting it into the pocket in the wall of the puzzle, the third card reveals several different direction markings in the cutouts. After removing it, mark with a sticker of the appropriate colour the direction that the corresponding digit on the key occupies relatively. You can also confuse the solver here by placing stickers of other colours in the unused spaces marked on the card. The lock can be opened in its default state by setting the combination 000. Then you can set a new numeric code by pressing and holding the button at the bottom. Once you release the bottom button, the currently set combination will be required to unlock it.
