To keep their carbon footprint as low as possible, they mainly produce their products in Germany, and in exceptional cases in neighbouring European countries. Most of their books are printed on FSC® paper, they use vegetable oil-based inks, solvent-free adhesives, water-based varnishes, and also avoid plastic packaging to reduce waste. In addition, they support good animal welfare around the world and, among other things, plant trees in local forests. The Magellan team consists of twenty employees who create innovative products with great design and magnificent stories for young readers – the future of our planet!
