Hess was founded by Günter Hess in the small German town of Olbernhau in 1990. At first, only the owner worked on the toys in the cellar and garage, today it employs more than 50 people. All toys are assembled by hand. Hess focuses on babies and toddlers, so the safety of toys that meet EN 71 standard and other safety regulations is important.
