Assemble and bring to life the terrifying ancient predator that ever walked the Earth. Tyrannosaurus Rex is a mechanical DIY wooden model of a walking tyrannosaurus. It is powered by a metal spring that transmits force through a reduced gear, rotating an axle that drives the legs. A clever system of connections allows this king of dinosaurs to walk on its own feet. The eccentric gear puts the tail in synchronous motion with the legs, which helps the dinosaur maintain balance and not fall to the side, just like in nature. This amazing walking dinosaur model is a wind-up DIY wooden scaled-down model of an adult Tyrannosaurus Rex. At the top of the tail hides the winding key. Remove the key and insert it into the ratchet mechanism on the left side of the dinosaur, making sure the head of the left femur is out of the hole (if needed, switch the switch to the "on" position and then turn the device over the shoulders of the T-Rex for leg movement). Switch the switch to the “off” position (towards the head) and wind the mechanism half a dozen clockwise, returning the key to its position between the tail and the body. Place the Tyrannosaurus on a smooth, flat surface, hold the automaton by the body (do not squeeze the legs together!), flip the switch and release. Your Tyrannosaurus will creep away and look for more food, its tail swinging and jaws snapping up and down in anticipation. It's actually a little scary!
